I have been doing various one of a kind pieces of art since 1983, and I pride myself on providing customers with the best-quality products and personal service. You can order from us using our online catalog. Some pieces are made from real animal and human bones legally obtained from licensed sellers. ARTIST STATEMENT

For the most part I am a self taught artist. I do some "mainstream" art such as portraits, wildlife, murals and on rare occasions museum work. In my 25+ years of earning I've worked as a designer of stained glass and sand blasted glass carving/etchings, illustration, art director for a props company, museum replica's and now I'm "freelance" once again. I also have done airbrush work on leather or what have you plus custom design and sculpture work in the craft model industry.

I'm often asked why I now choose to work with real animal & human skulls and bones? No...I'm not some demented serial killer! I feel as if I were keeping with a ancient time honored tradition. From Prehistoric Man to the Mayans and Egyptian people beautiful displays have been made from Real Bone meant for display. I could go on about the catacombs of Paris to the Buddhist Monks of Tibet.

Artists are now incorporating ashes of missed loved ones into one of a kind art glass and ceramic pieces. Another artist is mixing ash of the cremated into paints used in beautiful art for bereaved families. Again...I could go on and on.

For my part I was lucky enough to be brought up with great parents who helped in my understanding of life, death and anatomy whilst still having a deep reverence for what has passed. My dad is a hunter who often found odd animal skulls and skeletons in the woods for me to marvel over and study and in turn learn with respect. I myself never liked hunting and am not thrilled with the sight of real blood. Truth be told I can't really sit through a bloody horror movie.

So if your reading this and are some kind of Religious Zealot then why are you here? If my art offends then please leave. I in no way mean to offend anyone! From the Catholic Saint Icons and the Holy Crusades to the many museums of Medical Freaks and Oddities there are always going to be art like mine and people who collect them. People are fascinated by death...its just part of life.

In case your wondering...I myself buy my skulls, skeletons, etc as specimens used for art, medical and dental guides purchased from several on-line stores, auctions and local antique and estate sales. I really am trying to make these last remains into hopefully beautiful one of a kind art examples.

It is not illegal to own Real Human Skulls & Skeletons! It is perfectly legal possess and to sell in the United States. In recent years, China has become the main supplier of human bones to the United States. However, a large number of Indian bones still remain in the United States and may be freely sold. Certain material, such as those from Native Americans covered under the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act (http://www.cr.nps.gov/nagpra/MANDATES/25USC3001etseq.htm), are illegal to buy or sell and in some cases possess. However, these laws do not apply to most modern human bones from non-Native populations. In short, there is no law at the U.S. Federal level prohibiting you from having a human bone in your possession. This is not to say that such laws do not exist in other countries, or at the local level. For example, there is the exception of the states Georgia & Tennessee that both have independent State Laws prohibiting the import or export of human remains across their state lines so NO shipping to those states plus No FedEx shipping due to the fact that the main hub for them is in Tennessee! While I work hard to remain current, laws are passed worldwide faster than I could ever keep up with, so you must be responsible to know your local laws before ordering. One other thing I do know is NO shipping to Canada. Strict laws are in place where you must provide proof you are indeed a medical student or involved in a medical field requiring your need to have Human material in your possession.
