Authentic Human Skull decorated in the "Kapala" style as a Vampire's Drinking Cup or "Chalice". Decorated in my usual style with various grades of Real Silver & Sterling Silver. I also adapted a Antique Sterling Plated bowl and stem to make this into a functioning cup although it is meant for display only. For a change of pace I used Glass Taxidermy Eyes normally used for Bobcat mounts and they really give this one a creepy look of staring back at ya! The base has weight added to make this one stand steady and secure. After everything was decorated I followed up with my usual aging process and several coats of Epoxy Clear to protect it forever as a one of a kind display in your collection. Just a little side note...although it does not effect the price I believe this is a Female Skull as a few things pointed in this direction before I began my work. First of all the overall small size of the skull. Second is the smaller than normal Mastoid Process' of which the jaw muscles attach to and normally a male skulls are larger. Couple of other things are the flat Supraorbital Foramens and small eye sockets. But I am by no means an expert so these are just some reasons why I'm thinking it is Female and like I said the price is not more or less because of this. (Sold)
