Here is a "Modern Kapala" using a Authentic Male Human Skull representing my style of Satan. I decided to invest the most money and time into this piece to do a higher end one of a kind skull better then I have ever done before. First I began with the Real Skull. I used Real Legally purchased Ivory Hippo Tusks for the horns which were hand carved and Sterling inlaid for contrast. The Pentagram with Baphomet on the top lid was hand carved and inlaid with Real Silver and Authentic Rubies for eyes. The actual eyeballs of Satan are Real Mammoth Ivory rounds. The base is part of a Authentic Bison spine with Real Red Jasper worked into it. The drawer pull on the back is Authentic New Mexico Turquoise in Sterling Silver and the small nose-ring is a simple 14k Solid Gold hoop. Everything was decorated on Real Silver and hand finished. To add interest and a little mystery I placed a small drawer into the back of the skull and has a built in magnetic catch when closed and a catch to keep it from falling out. As always...after the piece was permanently assembled it was aged with a chemical stain similar to whats used for Bronze art and coated several times with a satin finish to last forever.(SOLD)
