This is my version of a "Egyptian Kapala" made from a Real Male Human Skull. As always everything was hand decorated with various grades of Silver and Sterling Silver. Also used is some Brass for contrast with a Bronze base and a Bronze piece mounted on a Sterling platform inside of the removable top from a Antique Bronze Jewelry Box I salvaged. The top is Hand Carved with a Egyptian Scarab with inlaid Sterling around to make it pop. Also used on the base were Sterling Silver Egyptian accents taken from a Antique Charm Bracelet. A lot of Silver accents were hand tooled for additional contrast and after the whole piece was permanently assembled it was submersed in a chemical dip like used for Bronze art and coated several times with a dull finish also used for Bronze work.(SOLD)
